Guesthouse
The first impression you have upon entering is one of abundant space and light.
Floor to ceiling glass on two walls, gives you a breathtaking panoramic view from Cape Point across the entire bay to Cape Hangklip on the opposite shore, creating a tranquil ambience in which you can relax and unwind.
Wooden floors run throughout the house, complimented by wonderful antique peices that grace the hallways and living areas.
Service
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and shown to your suite, so put your feet up and relax.
A Full South African Breakfast included in the room rate and we can serve lunch or dinner on prior arrangement. Should you have special dietry requirements, we would be glad to accommodate you. We also offer picnic lunches which you can enjoy on the numerous walking trails in the area.
Airport Transfer
once you’ve touched down, why not spare yourself the stress of organising transport and leave it up to us? We’d be delighted to meet you at the airport. Our standard rate per transfer is R200, and a little extra for late or early transfers.
Wireless Internet Access
Bluebottle is a Wi-Fi hotspot! For our business clients, and for those who want to stay in touch on their holiday, all you need is your lap top computer (usually standard with a Wi-Fi adapter) and you can tap into our Broadband ADSL (Digital Subscriber Line) at a download rate of 100 Mbps
Arrange Tours, Bookings & Car Hire
it would be our pleasure to arrange and book tours for you, make reservations or recommend one of the many fine restaurants in and around Cape Town. We offer advice on travel routes, car hire, and destinations, as well as information about the local area and its numerous attractions. Whatever your requirements, be sure to ask, we are happy to oblige.
Cleaning Service
Your room is serviced daily by 12pm. We offer a laundry and ironing service for which we charge R30 per load of washing and R3 per item for ironing. We do send clothes away for dry-cleaning if required.
Location
Muizenberg is half an hour’s drive from Cape Town city centre and twenty minutes drive from the Cape Town International Airport.
There are wonderful tourist destinations in close proximity; such as the Cape Point Nature Reserve, the penguins at Boulders Beach, the famous Cape Winelands, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, and Simons Town Naval Base.
Shops, banks, restaurants, railway stations, a doctor, dentist, post office, the beach and an information centre, are all within a 5 minute walk.
